Black and Red

I appreciate the sincerity of your comment, but in comparison, I feel this is much too contrasted, few skin tones remaining on the face and even a burned out area on the forehead. I don't think any technique is right or wrong, as Ansel Adams said "there are no rules in photography, only good photos", but it all goes down finally to taste, and I fully appreciate that this differs from one person to another. It is nevertheless a very attractive photo. Best wishes, John
